Many students learn to fly in their own airplanes. Others join the local flying club, and learn in the Cessna 172, an outstanding trainer as well as great family airplane. When licensed, club members can rent the airplane for personal or business trips, making flying both fun and useful.

A word about me. I started flying a loooooong time ago, did a lot of flight instruction in the Bay Area, specializing in teaching flight instructors how to teach, but quit when my first son (Austin - one of the two best damn kids on the planet) was born in 1995. I laid off flying for over a decade, but started back when the bug bit me again in 2007. Since jumping back in, I've done training for both student pilots and experienced pros working toward advanced ratings. My day job is as a local Realtor and marketing consultant/graphic designer/copywriter, but my passion is for teaching people to fly, and introducing them to the sheer wonders that await them when they see the Earth from up there. I'd like to do the same for you.

Missed Classes: Everyone always asks me what they do if they miss a class. We plan at least one make-up class at the end of each course to address subjects that were missed during the normal course schedule. In other words, don't worry about it. We'll make sure you get all the information you need to pass your knowledge exam.
Retake Policy: Any former student can retake the course, or any portion of the course, as often as they want at no charge. Just call me or visit this website to confirm when the next course meets.
